This exterior body restoration was supervised, and done for the most part by John Martin (pictured). I put in about 15-20 hours a week of grunt work (sanding), while John kicked in several hours a day of sanding. It took 11 weeks to sand and prime the truck. This page features photos taken Fathers' Day 2006 (what else should two dads be doing?). The usual Florida afternoon storms contributed a lot of humidity to the project. With all chemicals included, the "white" took over 1.5 gallons. We have no idea how many gallons of red we used, although I know I bought 3 to start with (plus the additives).
